Instead I design lessons around the student and their own personal style and goals. I feel that this creates a more motivating and driven curriculum and makes lessons more enjoyable for myself and my students.

My name is Andrew. I am a private guitar teacher in the Puyallup,WA area. I have been teaching professionally in the area for the past 6 years, and have been playing and studying the guitar since I was 11 years old. Music is my life, and teaching people to play this music on guitar is my passion. My focus is on the individual student, not on just one uniform curriculum. I teach each student at his/her own pace and in their musical interests, focusing on style, technique, and music theory. I have had many successful students over the years and have shown them that playing guitar is fulfilling, educational, and most of all fun. It is rewarding for both my students and myself to further this musical experience.

Andrew is an excellent instructor. He is really knowledgeable in music theory. I took lessons for only a short time but was able to learn so much, because he used my knowledge of piano to help me understand guitar concepts and he focused on the techniques and songs that I was most interested in.
