Percussion with Andrew B.

Andrew Bilbrey (b. 1993 in Annapolis, MD) is a session drummer, clinician, and touring artist. Based in Baltimore, MD, he is a member of the groups MUNK, Clucker, and Anthology. Andrew’s journey on the drums began at 5 years old, listening to popular music of the 80s and 90s. While heavily involved in school bands, Andrew studied drum set privately with Frank Russo. Andrew studied Drum Set Performance at Towson University (TU) and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Music in the spring of 2016. He performed with the renowned TU Residency Combo (Drew Gress 2013, Ellery Eskellin 2015) Andrew held the drum chair for the TU Jazz Orchestra from 2012-2015 and the Timonium United Methodist Church Worship Band from 2013-2018. Since graduating college, Andrew performs in Baltimore area clubs, teaches virtual private lessons out of his residence in Maryland, and studies with Mark Guiliana via Patreon. His band MUNK is set to release their sophomore album "Don't Trip" featuring Grammy Award winner Nate Werth of Snarky Puppy. Andrew recently completed a master’s degree in Data Science from UMBC.
