Online Portuguese Lessons

Hello! My name is Andressa and I'm a Portuguese (Brazilian) teacher from São Paulo, Brazil. I started working as an English teacher 10 years ago in São Paulo. Then I moved to San Diego in 2013 and started teaching Portuguese in a Language school, as well as private classes.

I have taught many different subjects, including speaking, pronunciation, grammar, business Portuguese, academic writing, and more. I've also taught beginners through very advanced Portuguese learners, as well as a range of ages, from kids to adults (although mostly adults).

As a teacher, I am friendly, patient, and kind, but I also care very much about my students' learning and I create lessons that are challenging but interesting, fun, and connected to the students' real lives and/or their specific goals. I also encourage students to talk as much as possible!
Classes are Personalized , according to the students’ needs and expectations. Class material and content are included.
