Hi there! I am a friendly, upbeat teacher who is excited about helping you or your student reach their goals. Writing, reading and grammar are my specialty, and I can't wait to help you reach your goals. I have a Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and I graduated with highest honors from Rutgers University with a B.A. in English Literature. I have extensive experience with both one-on-one and classroom teaching, and I am dedicated to getting results. When I taught an intensive SAT course at a non-profit called Mighty Writers, I saw an average of a 200 point gain in student scores. In the classroom, I have taught a wide and diverse range of students ranging from the incredibly gifted, to the most remedial students. I love teaching students at all levels and can be effective with the most advanced through the students who really feel out at sea. I can't wait to meet you and help you reach your goals!

I teach high school English, focusing on increasing vocabulary, writing and reading skills of my students. I also tutored a 2nd grade boy from Vietnam who was new to English, focusing on vocabulary and reading skills.

It began over 100 years ago with one woman, Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon "Daisy" Low, who believed in the power of every girl. She organized the first Girl Scout troop on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, and every year since, we've made her vision a reality, helping girls discover their strengths, passions, and talents. Today we continue the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. We're the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And with programs for girls from coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to do something amazing.
