I’m a violinist, violist, conductor, and instrument repair technician on my way to becoming a luthier. I began playing violin when I was 8 years old, and piano when I was 13. When I was 16 I was invited to teach some lessons at the local conservatory in Peru, and soon I was hired to teach full time with over 20 students a month. When I was 19 I became the coordinator for the strings division at the conservatory and taught music at the high school, in addition to teaching a full violin studio and conducting the conservatory’s Kids Orchestra.
I have had the privilege to perform as a soloist with orchestras in Peru and the US, in addition to going on tour with the conservatory string quartet performing and giving masterclasses in Brazil and Peru.
In 2016 I moved with my wife to the US to pursue a degree in Violin Performance. Currently, I direct the youth orchestra Keene Youth Strings, in addition to maintaining a violin and piano studio with my wife.
