I can help you start learning Russian or improve your overall skills depending on your level. I have an individual and flexible approach to each of my students and I adjust the program to their very needs and goals. All the textbooks and materials will be provided by me.

I have 13 years of teaching and working experience in an international community which improved my cultural awareness and appreciation of integrity among different cultures, backgrounds and religions. I was born and raised outside of the capital of Russia and educated there for 20 years. Recently I moved to DC area to pursue MBA degree.

I apply different teaching methods and techniques to different students to meet their individual goals and adapt to their learning abilities. I myself speak four (4) languages, therefore, I know exactly what challenges my students face in the learning process and how to anticipate them.

Anastasia is an extremely organized and hardworking individual who puts a lot of effort into her lessons.  My Russian language skills have improved dramatically since she started teaching me a few months ago.

Anastasia has been great helping me learn Russian. While my grandparents are from Russia (USSR actually!) I never managed to learn Russian from them at home. I always wanted to read Russian literature in the original, but did not have enough Russian to do so. With Anastasia's help I am now discovering Pushkin and Tolstoy in the original!  After only a few months working with Anastasia I am comfortable enough to read in Russian, watch Russian movies with subtitles, and sing along some very strange Russian pop music :)
