    About Ana T.

Miss Ana T. is a versatile educator with 10+ years of private teaching experience. She began building her skill set at various schools and after-school programs a decade ago, and all of the opportunities ultimately helped her to master the 'art' of tutoring, motivating, and small group teaching to a "T." She has successfully taught ESL learners and students with a wide range of disabilities, and can assist with general organization skills, college prep, and note-taking formation. To her, tutoring is more than just homework assistance; it's confidence building and character development, much like teaching. She exhibits patience and has genuine concern for every students' progress, therefore her phone stays off during sessions and she expects the same from them. :)

    Experience

    TUTOR

    Jan, 2005 - Jun, 2006

    Saddleback Valley Unified School District

This is where it all started! My first tutoring position began with me facilitating academic tutoring services for middle and high school students enrolled in the A.V.I.D. program, a national organization that successfully promotes college entrance and success rates among first generation and minority students. As an A.V.I.D. alum whom has had previous tutors, it was a natural transition for me to reverse the role, relate to the students, and provide them with academic assistance.
