Music Theory with Ana Laura D.

I am a young professional flute and piccolo player from Argentina where I received my Bachelors of Music in Flute Performance from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. My passion for music took me to Europe where I completed my post graduate studies with a Masters in Flute Performance (2012-2014) and a Masters in Flute Pedagogy (2014-2017) both from the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zurich University of the Arts), in Switzerland. I started teaching flute in 2009 in a national program inspired in "El Sistema" which provides music lessons for kids all over the country. Since then I have taught privately in Spanish, English and German to people of all ages, levels and from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. As a musician I take part in orchestral and chamber music projects in Argentina, Switzerland and since last summer in Boston as well. Besides the importance of learning the technique to play the flute, what I enjoy the most is the unique opportunity to communicate with others through the instrument, through the music and without words, regardless of your level. I am looking forward to share this passion with you!
