Want to play your favorite songs? Experienced teacher specializing in the beginner/intermediate piano student! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you be playing songs in no time, but you will be building a strong foundation of note reading, music theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and more. I studied violin from the age of 9 (long time ago). I studied mainly privately but constantly in competitions with scholarships to brevard music center in N.C. and governors school for the arts held at Furman university. Obtained a music scholarship and minor in fine arts with a major in education. I have taught many subjects including private violin lessons. Classical, hymns, Gospel, pop and romance are genres I am familiar. I have over 25 years as in education. Let’s get started!

I have had Amy as a violin teacher for 2.5 years now. I have never had a bad lesson with her. She notices my pace in learning and accommodates her teaching style to it while also challenging me. She is very nice and I would recommend her to others.
