Acting with Amy P.

Amy P. is a theater professional who believes that the arts are an anchor representing underrepresented people. She has spent her adult life dedicated to this movement as a theater director and as an arts educator. As a director, she has coached actors, directed plays off-broadway and locally, and created multigenerational devised theater with young people and adults for twenty-seven years. As an arts educator, she has worked to build artistic forums into the daily life of schools and communities, that otherwise would not provide an arts education. Her work in these settings has reached thousands of young people in underserved schools and communities.
