Hi, potential piano students! My name is Amy, and I’m excited to meet you! I’ve been teaching private piano lessons since 2018 and have loved helping my students develop natural and healthy piano technique, learn strategies to conquer difficult pieces, and above all discover the depth and magic of the world of music. I received a BA in Piano Performance from High Point University in 2016 and an MM in Music Theory from Northwestern University in 2020. I’m a bubbly but professional person, and my teaching style is adaptable to your needs. I love incorporating games (for all ages!) and music from outside the method books to fit your interests. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
