About Amy H.

Classes are based on the appreciation that all children are musical. Lessons focus on learning to sing in tune while keeping a beat and participating with confidence. In order to better engage students holistically through mind/body, yoga-based activities are blended into each music lesson.

Amy Heichel has been teaching private piano lessons since 1990, and is currently available to teach lessons in your home using your piano or keyboard.

I am pleased with Amy's expertise and understanding of how to show my daughter the course of how to read, play, and compose music. I am most impressed by her patience and dedication, she has a gentle way with children. My daughter is quickly learning and showing no signs of giving up. She always looks forward to her lessons.
