I am so excited to begin lessons with you! When you choose me as your teacher you can expect hands on experience with sign language! We will make it into a game, we can use memory tricks to help you remember a sign for the long term and I will even from time to time I will bring in native signers (deaf people) to help me teach you! That is always the best way to learn is from a native singer! In a first lesson, I will assess where your skills are at and we will take it from there! I can teach you if you are beginning or even if you just want some practice signing with someone and you are at intermediate level! Maybe you are in school and you want some feedback. I am open to helping you achieve any goals you may have in sign language!

Hello! My name is Amy, I am a sign language interpreter who is in love with spreading the knowledge of American Sign Language! I hold an associates degree in sign language interpreting, which means I have taken ASL 1, ASL 2, ASL 3, ASL 4 and ASL 5, and in addition have taken interpreting courses. I find complete joy in teaching others about sign language and Deaf culture! If you choose me as your teacher we will have fun learning new signs and learning about structure of American Sign Language!
