Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport

Assisted in the bilingual sections of two K-6 public schools as part of an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain to promote and enhance student mastery of English. Responsibilities: supplemented teacher explanation of grammatical and linguistic concepts, facilitate conversation and promoted student engagement in the classroom, designed educational activities and contextualized language through cultural presentations, corrected pronunciation and conducted oral exams.

English Language Center Junior Programs

I work as an ESL teacher for an intensive summer English immersion program held on the UCSB campus. I teach beginning communications and high intermediate grammar to students from a variety of different countries around the world, ages ranging from about ten to seventeen.
