I have been interested in music for as long as I can remember. I began taking piano lessons when I was six and started auditioning for musicals at eight. I fell in love with performing, and my passion has grown into a career path. I began studying voice privately when I was in thirteen. Music and performing have brought so much joy to my life, and I love to help others develop and cultivate their own passion for music.
I recently received my Masterâs Degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory. I also hold a Bachelorâs Degree in Vocal Performance from DePaul University. During undergrad, I was able to study abroad for a semester in Vienna, Austria where I performed in an opera workshop. I have spent two summers on Cape Cod singing with the College Light Opera Company. I have experience singing both opera and musical theater roles as well as an extensive choral background. I have sung with NEC Opera, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, North End Music and Performing Arts Center, MIT G&S Players, and Madison Opera. Favorite roles include Papagena (The Magic Flute), Casilda (The Gondoliers), Johanna Barker (Sweeney Todd), Anne Egerman (A Little Night Music), and Rapunzel (Into the Woods). In addition to my private studio, I am a teaching artist/ vocal mentor with Missing Links in Roxbury, MA. While I specialize in classical and musical theater singing, I also have a love of jazz and folk music. I believe that learning the basics of classical vocal technique are essential to healthy singing of any kind.

I work with the students in a kind and caring way that helps them to develop an understanding of vocal technique while gaining confidence in themselves as musicians and performers. Each student is different in how they approach learning and what they want out of lessons. It is important to me as a teacher to understand each student's individual interests and challenges. I want to create a productive, fun, and encouraging environment for my students.
I focus on the fundamentals of classical singing beginning with breathing. I also teach the importance of finding the meaning behind what you are singing and communicating that to the audience. I help students build practice strategies and routines in order to get the most out of their practice time. I recognize that singing and performing is a very personal thing, and I encourage students to step outside their comfort zone without the fear of making a mistake. I want to help students meet their goals while having fun and working on music that they love to sing.
