I tutor French, history, writing, and literature/reading. I am a full time preschool teacher credentialed in the state of Colorado and earning my license through CU Denver. I have a bachelor's degree in history from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota where I also studied French. Though I currently teach preschool, I have experience with a wide range of students. I was a peer mentor during my undergrad in both French and history, have spent several summers teaching writing and literature at a 7th grade level, and spent 2016-17 as a reading interventions tutor for kindergarten through third grade. I'm passionate about teaching, and most of all, passionate about helping students succeed. My philosophy is that we all bring different strengths to our learning. As an educator I strive to be flexible and creative, to find the methods that work best for you. Sometimes the subjects we struggle with we just need to see from a different angle.
