I have been taking piano lessons and singing lessons from Amber for about a year. I have had big music dreams for most of my life, but have just recently found the courage to give it a try. I was an absolute beginner in singing and had a few months experience with the piano. In both aspects, Amber has completely changed my life. I am more confident in my skills, I enjoy practicing, and I am starting to see a HUGE difference in my vocals and piano from when I started.

Amber asks you to put in work in order to achieve your musical goals. Follow her advice, and I promise you will not be disappointed. Before you know it, you will have gained skills in sight-reading, in breath support, in playing through distraction, in singing and playing with correct form, and in building confidence in yourself and your abilities. I love Amber, and I would choose her again and again if I could.

My daughter is 8 years old and takes piano and violin from Amber. Amber is an amazing teacher! She is kind, listens to my daughter, teaches her the foundational building blocks to play each instrument, teaches her technique, ear training, and is firm enough to progress the lessons quickly. She is a great encourager! My daughter is learning quickly, and already sounds good on both instruments. We love Amber and feel very lucky that we found her!

Excellent first lesson! Instructor took time to really learn about me before getting started with the first lesson. Amber is an instructor with tons of praise as you learn. She uses differentiated learning in customizing her lessons for her students and takes the time to check for understanding. She is a kind, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching.

Amber accomodated me on short notice getting me prapared for an audition. Amber is our church's music director and as a member of the worship team I have had the opportunity to observe her interact with students, including my wife. Needless to say, I was quite impressed with her abilities. But, I didn't realize the scope of her wonderful expertise until I began taking voice lessons from her. The awesome thing about Amber is her ability to interact with the student on the student's level. In other words, Amber has the wonderful ability of sharing her musical expertise by teaching in such a gentle, encouraging and patient manner that makes taking lessons from her a joy and privilege. Although, her knowledge of music is second to none, she teaches in such a gracious manner that the student doesn't feel like they are being talked-down-to.

Amber has changed the way I sing in front of people by teaching me to use my diaphragm more for air. I play numerous string instruments now in church along with Amber. She has helped me decipher the keys in music as well as coordinate my playing skills in timing. I have been playing music for over fifty years and I am still learning thanks to Amber. I personally recommend as an instructor for any beginner or a sound musician.

I started lessons with Amber 2 years ago, but because of health issues I had stop. Now I’m ready to start again and have been working with Amber for 6 weeks. Being in my 50’s and starting a new venture with playing the piano I am very nervous I will not succeed. Amber is the most patient women I have ever met! She encourages me to be the best I can be, makes me feel that there isn't anything I can’t accomplish. I used to play flute when I was in school but now that I’m older I have forgotten most of what I had learn, and I am having to learn the base part also. Amber makes it look effortlessly, and with her help, guidance, expertise and knowledge, I know I will master this! I could not ask for a better person to help me with my new venture. She is truly an angel sent from above.

I have never been happier singing than I am now after having been trained by Amber J. First starting with her I was so full of doubt and self-loathing in regards to the inconsistency of my voice but, I was met with absolute encouragement and professionalism. I went into these lessons only wanting to be a good singer, and now I am well on my way to being one of the best.

Amber is the best at what she does! I've been taking classes with her for over six months and she has been an amazing vocal teacher. When I started, I could barely sing. I was so nervous that my voice would shake when she first asked me to sing for her the first day. You could even say I sounded weak. But as I kept moving forward with my classes, my voice started to develop into something that I can be proud of, and I wouldn't be where I am now without Amber. I now have the confidence to sing for people! She's very committed to her students, and she doesn't settle for anything less than perfect. If you want to become an amazing singer, I would strongly recommended Amber because she pushes you to do your best and encourages you to never give up on your dreams.

Amber is the best voice teacher I have ever had. I needed help quickly to prepare an audition piece for a University I was applying to out of state. I was under a real deadline and I had heard about Amber from one of her other students. We began to work on the piece and it was obvious I needed help with some of my techniques. Even though Amber was fitting me between other scheduled lessons, she found another time the next day and we worked on technique and over the next few days finished the audition piece. It was incredible and even the voice faculty commented on my song, and they were really impressed.
