About Amber F.
Do you want to expand your signing skills from a CODA (Child Of Deaf Adult) and educator? ASL being my first language and English a second language, I’ve signed to my mother, father, brothers and others in the deaf community by nature. I’m currently learning to sign music in ASL which has been a no great experience. As a lifelong learner, I hope to inspire and share this experience with you! I have a background in Reading/ElAR elementary 7years completing in depth reading inventories to promote reading development.
With the obstacles in language communication with people who have special needs, I also offer Family support that is individually personalized, to meet the needs of child or relative. This includes older adults experiencing hearing loss, parents of deaf children, or individuals with special needs that maybe be able to better communicate in ASL vs English. I’m the voice behind the signs.

Amber covered a lot of ground in 30 minutes but was very clear in her explanations. I also felt very comfortable, which is so important!

She has helped me and 2 year old daughter become more fluent with ASL and she does a very great job 👍🏽 We will continue to grow with her. Thanks for your support and help!

Amber is fantastic with kids as well as kind and patient. She is a native speaker of ASL and can answer any question you have about it. Unfortunately for the last few months she's missed about every third class without even an apology. For the last two weeks she's completely no showed to lessons and is no longer responding to email.

Amber is fantastic. My 6 yo is learning a lot and really enjoys her classes with Amber.

Amber is amazing. She was informative, thorough, kind and professional. Could not ask for anything more. Thanks Amber!!!

First ASL lesson for my 6 yr old girl. As soon as lesson was over she came running to me saying it was AWESOME!! Amber is super nice, and immediately had my girl smiling, interacting, and SIGNING!! Highly recommend!

Amber is an excellent teacher! She explains everything so well and makes the learning process fun. I'm learning so much faster than I ever thought I could. I highly recommend lessons with Amber, she's awesome.

Amber is very friendly, welcoming and engaging. We have a different situation, in that my niece is going deaf, so our whole family is taking lessons together with Amber. Ages from 9-48, and she worked at a great pace for everyone. Can't wait for our next class.

My daughter loved her first session and said that Amber was easy to follow. She is excited about learning a new language.

Amber is great!

Very patient and knowledgeable

So helpful. What i think is really important about amber is she can tell what the weakness are and knows how to help you practice and improve in a comfortable fun way. I really do appreciate when someone can help me fix mistakes or grow stronger. Im stone deaf and never really learned any form of sign , especially not asl. It means everything she’s pacient and wants me to learn correctly and well. Thank you

Amber is just a amazing...my son wanted to learn sign language. She was able to teach him. He will be taking more lessons. Thank you Amber

Amber is patience and understanding. She allowed me to learn at my own pace.

Amber was awesome!

Amber is an awesome teacher! She’s patient, kind and educated for sure.

Amber is wonderful. She is a skilled instructor whose best gift is the way she listens and pays attention to detail. We are only a few lessons in, and I've really enjoyed learning with her because she is so collaborative. She is also very attentive to getting the most out of our time. I'm looking forward to continued learning!

Amber is an enthusiastic and patient teacher. My daughter (9 years) and I are really enjoying our classes.
Amber is great about teaching to our pace and answering our (many) questions. My daughter asked if we can attend every week instead of every-other because she is having so much fun, as am I!

Amber is great!

Amber is great!

Amber is super! She works well with our special needs daughter. She is very knowledgeable, and able to show us the ASL signs our daughter needs.

Amber is a great ASL teacher. We had face-to-face practice lessons. She is patient, caring and has a kind and delightful personality. You can sense her passion for teaching. She shared different learning strategies on how I can develop and improve my fingerspelling, receptive and expressive skills. I enjoyed our practice sessions! She is very encouraging and flexible! Great ASL teacher!
