    About Amber F.

Hello, I'm Amber, music education major and commercial music minor. My background in music extends to marching band competitions, teaching a classroom of 30+ students (age range 8 to 15), giving private lessons since '08, and performing at events like the Sugar Bowl of '11 and being featured on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Being a fellow parent, I understand the hardship of setting consistent tutoring schedules, so I'm very flexible as long as my own schedule is respected. I have experience with the special needs community and continue to volunteer at events that suit my work/school week. I'll gladly work with those who have autism, down syndrome, etc. When teaching students of any age, I like maintaining a relationship with them (and parents) to where they are comfortable inquiring topics outside of the musical realm, such as "how was school today?" I want my students/parents to feel that they can come to me for (limited) social time. Thank you for your consideration. -Lessons will always be at an affordable price, guaranteed. -For musicians, if you want to learn the flute, clarinet, keyboard/piano, soprano saxophone, or piccolo, you have the option of taking that instrument home practicing outside of our sessions. Music stand and sheet music included. Bringing in pieces to learn is always welcome! -Parents are encouraged sit in and/or participate. -Snacks/drinks can be provided.
