I began teaching piano 15 years ago and have been playing piano since I was a child. I am extremely passionate about the benefits of music education. I am classically trained and have a fondness for Ragtime and Beethoven. When I was actively performing, I performed with several ensemble groups, including playing with three people at one piano. In additional to my extensive musical background, I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education, a Masters of Education in Instructional Design, and am finishing a J.D. Additionally, I am Editor-in-Chief of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and a national conference speaker. Because of my unique background, I take the time to customize my curriculum for each student, ensuring that every student is able to learn in the most advantageous way for them. I understand how each learning style translates to learning music, test prep, and learning English. We will work together to create the journey that is best suited to you and your goals, giving you the best opportunity for success. I look forward to learning with you!
