String Project

After a two year break due to schedule conflicts, I returned to the String Project more prepared to teach after completing more music education courses. Now, my responsibilites include preparing young violinists and cellists for concerts using the Suzuki Methods books, excerpts chosen by the master teachers I teach under, as well as technical things such as scales. I also part-arrange when it is necessary. After completing almost four years of college, I feel I am more prepared to teach these children than in my first year, thanks to the curriculum and the faculty that I have worked with.

KidsPark

I was responsible for caring for children which required first aid, changning diapers, preapring meals, creating activities, and monitoring large motor activites such as jump rope or playing on the playground.

CSUS String Projecy

I worked with the String Project my freshman year of college. My responsibilities were preparing students for a concert where they would perform for their friends and family songs and tunes from the first book of Suzuki Methods. In the classroom setting, the teaching assistants were only teaching violin and cello.
