Guitar with Amanda M.

I've been playing guitar for about twelve years, and teaching for the last five. I started out by teaching a family in my neighborhood for free, and after discovering my love of teaching, I expanded this into a job while I pursue my bachelor's degree in music business. I've performed with bands, playing a variety of genres. I also write both singer/songwriter style and instrumental music. I teach beginner to intermediate guitar, piano, bass, and music theory. I make sure to direct lessons in ways that work for each individual student's learning styles, and to ensure that we are always working towards your goals and learning the things that interest you, while weaving in technique and music theory that will help you build a solid musical foundation. I'm very excited to get to know you and to help you along your musical journey!
