I have been teaching music lessons for the past ten years. From 2012-2015, I owned and operated a violin and piano studio full-time where I taught hundreds of children ages 2-18. I teach Suzuki violin lessons and use the traditional method for piano lessons. I tailor my curriculum to fit each student's individual needs and maintain open lines of parent-teacher communication to optimize the learning experience.
Taught Suzuki violin lessons to students ages 5-10 from the surrounding community and helped them prepare for annual recital.
I taught group and one-on-one violin and piano lessons, creating individualized curriculae and developing a unique brand that catered to a wide range of student age and ability. I interfaced daily with parents and students, communicating through face-to-face interactions, emails, and phone calls. I coordinated scheduling and billing and grew my client base using word-of-mouth recommendation and advertising contracts with local music businesses.
The Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) is a coalition of teachers, parents, educators, and others who are interested in making music education available to all children. The SAA provides programs and services to members throughout North and South America.
