I have a B.S. in Education.  I also hold a M.Ed in Reading.  I have an active Instructional II teaching certificate in the state of PA.  I have certifications in Elementary (Kindergarten through sixth grade), Early Childhood (newborn through third grade), and Reading Specialist (Kindergarten through 12th grade).  I believe a combination of phonics, phonemic awareness, and sight word knowledge builds a strong foundation for learning to read.  I have many programs to meet individual needs and have seven years of teaching Kindergarten in public schools.

I am an early childhood specialist.  I specialize in helping children learn to read.  In addition to helping students with reading, I have a passion for ASL and fitness.  I have a passion for helping people!  I love helping children learn to read/write and communicate using Sign Language.  I also enjoy helping adults work towards their health and fitness goals through group fitness formats and also through one on one personal training.
