As soon as I was introduced to band in 6th grade, I was obsessed with all things music! When I was 12, I taught myself how to play the drums by mirroring Zac Hanson's performances on VHS. My first "drumset" was a mix of wood, buckets, and tin cymbals! Not only did I play my way through most instruments at least once, but I also joined every possible group I could. I played tenor saxophone in pep band, bass clarinet in concert band, baritone in jazz band, and lots more. Being able to explore my musical side was a huge benefit for me. I hope to share this passion with you, no matter what your level is. I have worked at more than one rock and roll style camp for kids and teens, so I am confident I can connect and find a teaching method that fits your learning style. I can't wait to hear what kind of music you love and watch you learn how to play it!
