Ever the arts lover, I've split my last 11 years between privately teaching violin and viola and being a wedding photographer - both things I absolutely adore! My past age ranges have been from as young as 3 (we build box instruments and have lots of fun!) to 67. Both spectrums have their bonuses for me. I love to make lessons insightful, very fun informative, and hopefully a bright spot in your week. I'm NOT the stereotypical strict, no-nonsense teacher (if that's what you need, I'm sorry that I'm not your girl!). I hope to provide a warm and friendly learning enviroment which will last with you as you grow musically. (And if you're wondering - I was trained at University of Indianapolis as first chair (viola) in their chamber orchestra and have been playing for 22 years thus far.)
