I’m an experienced French teacher/tutor committed to taking a hands-on approach to help students learn a new language through comprehensive immersion in the culture on a one-on-one teaching situation online to improve the student’s skills. My goal is to assist in the joyful growth of the students and to inspire them to use their intellects as they create a meaningful and noble life, and to expand their perception of the larger world. I hold a Master’s degree in Education with Honors from the Pace University of New York in Language, Meanings, Development for Global Perspectives. As an educator and French language and French Immersion teacher/tutor, national and international, I have developed teaching strategies (constructive pedagogy) that motivate, engage students, and stir them up to communicate with confidence in French. I offer quality tutoring to students of all ages and I assist and guide in their joyful French learning growth. I’ve been teaching French from Elementary to college levels through Middle and Upper School for over 15 years, and reaching goals and exceeding expectations as a teacher/tutor. I know no student is the same. Hence it is my duty as a tutor to assess my student’s strengths and weaknesses and present the material in a way that the student is able to understand. My teaching philosophy privileges student engagement.
