I have been a professional actor since 2003 and have been working and living in the DC area for the last 7 years. I recently moved back to the NY area and am excited to continue building my career here. I have been a proud member of Actors Equity Association since 2009. I have coached privately for over a decade and specialize in audition preperation for both undergraduate and graduate submissions, as well as upcoming productions. I am also an accomplished voice over artist and can facilitate the creation of your very own demo reel. Named one of D.C. 12 acting dynamos to watch in 2017 by the Washington Post.

Alyssa is the best. I had a little less than a month to pick two contrasting monologues for an audition. Alyssa sent me a monologue that’s was absolutely amazing. Alyssa is patient, knowledgeable, and a ton of fun. Completely down to earth. (Judgment free zone). I would refer Alyssa to any and everybody. Amazing experience.

First session was basically a meet and greet, and I must say, she's got a pretty awesome personality as well as a very open and free flow vibe.

Alyssa is great. She has an in-depth knowledge of multiple teaching techniques that will help you improve as an actor. She is also extremely flexible and will tailor lessons to focus on what aspects of acting you wish to improve and what teaching methods help the most.

    Capitol Hill Arts Workshop

    Feb, 2012

The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop's (CHAW's) mission is to build community through the arts. It is a community-based, not-for-profit organization founded in 1972 by Sally Crowell and other community members who were interested in sharing their artistic expertise with children and adults. Arts instruction classes were held in several Capitol Hill churches until, in the late 1970's, the organization obtained the use of the old B.B. French School (545 Seventh St, SE) from the District of Columbia government.
