Violin with Alyssa B.

I am a violinist studying violin performance at Berklee College of Music. I have experience playing violin, guitar, piano, and other instruments, however with violin being my primary instrument, Berklee has trained me to be fluent in a wide variety of musical styles. In my 10 years of playing, I have learned genres including; Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Country, Middle Eastern, and more. When I'm not practicing solo music, I'm either recording in my home studio or in a session studio, or gigging around with bandmates, fulfilling what my soul was made to do! I have experience in playing several groups ranging from classical orchestras to jazz combos to rock bands. Some of these opportunities have been with Country Artist, Ashely Jordan, well-known artist, bassist, and producer, Larry Klein, as well as Final Fantasy composers and orchestrators, Yoko Shimomura and Arnie Roth. In taking violin lessons with me, students can expect to have a fun time, but learn lots week to week improving on their technique and repertoire. I provide lessons custom to each students age, level, interest and desire. Whatever style of music my student is interested in learning, is the one they should be expecting to learn. I believe that there is great importance in learning every type of music you can, and so I very much am looking forward to meeting you as my student! You're in for a fun ride!
