Classical Piano

Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
I’ve been classicslly trained in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, one of the best places in the world where one can learn how to be a musician. Since then I’ve learned how to love and play jazz, pop, and rock, as well as how to sing, compose and understand the principles of composition and music theory. I graduated from Conservatory in Almaty and Berklee College in Boston and I’m pursuing Master of Arts, while teaching and performing in Boston area. Teaching experience is as fascinating as piano performance and yet, is more challenging at times. My focus is to make sure my students understand what they do and why they do it in music and seeing them grow is one of the greatest feelings I’ve had.

Hi there! I’m a classical and jazz piano teacher, accompaniator and composer. I like church music, I have perfect pitch and I play Rachmaninov. I do enjoy teaching little fingers to play their first music ever! I do also get along well with elderly students, I like history, philosophy and I do incorporate it into the learning process. What is your favorite composer or pianist? Let’s find it out together!

Excellent teacher. Her focus on technique has been very helpful. I'm only a few weeks in but she's already made a difference for this adult student
