Build great trombone technique and tone! Fast learning from a professional trombonist

I'm a professional trombone player and teacher with over 10 years of experience. Have a song you love? Let's play it! I always like to include music that's fun and relevant in addition to the usual music library. We also use common method books and other supplementary materials. Learn to: - play with a great tone - have cleaner articulation - have musical awareness - sight-read - begin playing phrases and "shapes" - and much more! If you have any questions or would like to get to know me better, feel free to send a message!

    About Allison M.

Hi there! I'm a professional trombone player, teacher, and recording artist. Since graduating with a bachelor's degree in trombone performance from the University of Georgia, I've performed in numerous settings in several countries, including orchestras, jazz bands, and chamber ensembles. I'm also a studio recording musician as well, and I've recorded with multiple Grammy Award-winning artists. I've also taught trombone and euphonium for about 10 years now, and I love it! I teach from 11 and up, and lessons are tailored to each player. If you have a goal, we can get there! My specialties are tone production, articulation, awareness, and phrasing, along with other trombone fundamentals. I'm very passionate about playing fun music, so I'm open to adding student-chosen songs to the lesson library. If you like it, let's play it!
