I have a Master of Music degree in flute from the University of Texas at Austin and have been playing flute for the past 15 years. I have professional experience both playing flute and teaching students of all levels. I currently have a studio of about 15 students that I teach weekly. I live within walking distance of the UT campus and can offer lessons either from my house or at the Butler School of Music.

Hello! My name is Allison and I am a 24 year old flutist and teacher living in Austin, TX. I have 4 years of experience teaching students from ages 13-40. My biggest goal as a flute teacher is to help train my students to develop an incredible musical ear-- this skill helps students to thrive as we work on elements such as tone production, rhythm, intonation accuracy, and melodic and harmonic recognition, as they are able to play an active role in their own learning!

Allison has been teaching my daughter Sofia for over a year. We’ve had multiple teachers and she is by far the best. Not only is she an amazing flutist, but her ability to teach and help students reach their highest potential is unlike I’ve ever seen. She takes pride in her teaching and has high expectations for her students. She is also very sweet! I highly recommend her.
