I believe that training your voice in a healthy way is key to becoming a successful singer! I'm happy to help you with any goals that you have, and we'll create a lesson plan that works especially for you! I teach all levels of students from beginners to professional performers. I have successfully prepared students for auditions, and many of my students have been accepted to prestigious performing arts high schools and conservatories. I've always had a passion for singing, and I began performing at a young age in community theater productions! As a singer/songwriter, I perform regularly around New York City with my band. While studying at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, I performed as the lead vocalist in several performance ensembles, including The Art Blakey Ensemble and The Brazilian Jazz Ensemble. These ensembles were directed by world renowned jazz musicians. *** Lesson Details *** I am very dedicated to teaching and performing all different styles of music! I begin all lessons with vocal technique, and I teach a wide range of repertoire including Jazz, Pop, Rock and Musical Theater! Finding songs that are meaningful to you will have a strong impact on an audience, and can be life changing for you as a singer! *** Studio Equipment *** I provide a keyboard at my studio. *** Travel Equipment *** At a student's home I would need a keyboard or piano to be provided. *** Specialties *** I have assisted students in preparation for Performing Arts High Schools, and College conservatory auditions. I am also certified in Somatic Voicework.
