Hello, My name is Allan and I have been playing drums/percussion for 24 years. I started off in the orchestra in middle school and have never stopped playing since then. I am a touring/studio musician playing with all different types of artist and styles. (I do not teach metal. Sorry never got into it) I specialize in funk/rock/jazz/blues/country/ and pop.
I make lessons fun and interesting. Sure there are times when you have to read out of a book, but I use fun and creative ways to take that material and apply it to each students needs.
Here at my house I am equipped with 2 drumsets, practice pad drumset, organ, piano, and guitars as well as recording capabilities to hear your progress. I also have an electronic drums set to come to your house if you are unable to travel.
I love music and I want to help you be comfortable in playing the style(s) you choose.
I manage the band, tours, finances, and overall direction of the Band. I do not write the material or own the material but I do produce the material.
I am also the drummer.
The Hopi Bluesband will also be Mojo Morganfields back ing band. (Muddy Waters youngest son)
I co-write and co-produce this group EMG. They are a progressive/fusion/rock-jazz group. I handle all managerial dealing as well.
I am a studio drummer for the label Amdromiden Recordings. I have been hired to do studio work with several different artists and tour with them as well.
