I am an attentive and nurturing teacher and I make it a priority to ensure my students are not only learning the necessary skills but are also developing a life-long appreciation for music. I believe in teaching students to be well-rounded musicians by incorporating all musical aspects such as technique, ear-training, rhythm, theory, sight-reading, and improvisation, to name a few. Music plays a big role in our lives. It is therapeutic, helps build self-confidence, and is a great way to express one's individuality. I can't recommend Alina enough. There are 'teachers' out there who are largely cheerleaders, offering lots of encouragement but not much advice or help. Alina is encouraging, for sure, but what I love about her is that she knows her stuff, helps you zero in on what you need to do to improve, and then helps you actually improve with great feedback and advice. Fantastic, I couldn't be happier, thank you Alina!
