Alicia was such an attentive and thoughtful teacher. Every time we tackled a project together she found just the right tools and concepts to help me succeed. Apart from her taylormade teaching, Alica also has an extremely varied background. Often times in our lessons together she would draw on personal experiences whether it be chamber music, solo performances, orchestral repertoire, music education, and even taking auditions. In short I would highly recommend any aspiring (beginning-professional) oboe players to consider studying with Alicia - she transformed my playing immensely and could do the same for you!+ Read More
