Thank you for you interest in my studio, more importantly, thank you for your interest in music! Learning a musical instrument will reap benefits for a lifetime and I hope you will find the journey to be fun and rewarding! My own ventures into music have become a career as well as a hobby. As a Music Education major in college, I knew I wanted to know more. After college I earned 2 advanced degrees – An MS (Master of Science) in Vocal Teaching (1975) and an MAT (Master of Arts) in Piano Pedagogy (1994). My private teaching career began in 1976 and I continue to enjoy it 40+ years later! There is a special joy for me watching students learn as a result of our time together each week.
