Guitar with Alexis B.

Hi, I'm Alexis and am an NYC based professional guitarist, singer/songwriter, recording artist, and music producer. I have a Bachelor's from Berklee College Of Music with a focus on guitar technique. I also have 10+ years of experience on stage and in the studio. I love to meet new students, and am comfortable working with beginners all the way to advanced level guitarists. A little more about myself: I've toured and recorded professionally for the past decade. In that time, I've shared the stage with Grammy-winning artists and had my music compositions featured in video games and television  (UPTV Bringing Up Bates, VH1 Behind The Music, E! Keeping Up With The Kardashians, MTV The Real World, MTV I Used To Be Fat, and MTV Teen Mom). While enrolled at Berklee College of Music, I won their performer songwriting award. I'm versatile in all styles but have a staggering amount of experience as a rock guitarist and singer/songwriter. I offer extensive knowledge of chords, scales, improvisation, musical theory, etc. Whether I'm playing a show, recording in the studio, or teaching lessons I always keep in mind how lucky I am to be able to have music as my job and share it with others. I'm constantly inspired by the effect that chords and melodies have on people. Music is so remarkable because, even though it can't be seen or touched, it has an enormous impact in society.
