Dance with Alexis B.

Before she became serious about dancing, Alexis Perino-Boseman was a competitive figure skater. Through her off-ice training, she found a love for ballet and contemporary dance. She decided to audition for Natomas Charter Performing and Fine Arts Academy in order to pursue her passion for dance. Through this school, she was able to explore many different styles of dance including tap, jazz, theater, modern, etc. Being able to study dance in school every day made Alexis want to take dance to the next level. For her sophomore year of high school, Alexis decided to audition for the Impulse Dance Company at River City Dance Academy. Alexis has been able to take class from many popular names in the business such as Travis Wall, Meghan Sanett, Aisha Francis, Jaci Royal, and many more. Through conventions, she has won multiple scholarships such as the Tremaine Studio Dancer of the Year (RCDA) and the Establish Your Empire: Be Bold Experience Scholarship. Currently, Alexis is teaching and pursuing a professional career. Along with dance, she also works as a model for Hair Gone Wild and other small businesses. She is working to create an arts collective with her partner Felipe Hernandez that works to empower people while performing and doing community service. She travels internationally with this group, Trankquil Arts, and hopes to make a difference in the world. Alexis currently teaches at two studios teaching children and teens. She also teaches masterclasses for adults when she can. She is so excited to start working privately with new students, and hopes that you enjoy her lessons!
