I know what it's like to be the last chair in band or what it's like to be the worst marcher on the field. But if you work hard and put effort into becoming a better player then you will succeed. I went from last chair in sixth grade to first chair at all-state my senior year and to getting a full tuition scholarship to college for clarinet all because I took lessons and worked at improving my skills every day. I observed at a highschool band room while working to get my degree so I have experience working with highschool aged students.
I tutored students on clarinet to prepare them for solo and ensemble and also to help make sure they got into the highschool band.
