As a high school music teacher, I taught music education classes, 4 levels of piano, as well as orchestra.

As a general music teacher, I teach grades K-6.  I also run the chorus and accompany them on warm-ups.  During the summer, I work with the school band program.

As a general music teacher in the public school system, I strive to cultivate a love of music in young students.  I have experience teaching piano, voice, and woodwinds throughout New Jersey.  Lessons will include a focus on basic technique as well as music literacy and connections to songs students enjoy.  I believe lessons should be a fun, rewarding activity that students look forward to.

When I am not teaching a class or a private student, I am baking or enjoying the ocean.  If I will be travelling to you it is guaranteed that I will be singing along to show tunes or classic rock on the way.  I fell in love with music because I had teachers who were patient, kind, and motivated.  Everyday I teach with them in mind so that students can build self-confidence with music and feel supported.
