I'm a guitarist, composer, music producer and teacher based in Chicago. I graduated with honors from Columbia College in Chicago and received an MA in Music Composition from the University of Huddersfield in the UK. I have toured in bands and presented my music all over the US and Europe. As a composer and performer for acoustic and electronic instruments I've worked with great musicians/artists/engineers from all over the world and made music for video games and for films. As a teacher, I'm passionate, engaging, and effective. Over the last decade I've had several former become professional guitarists and/or producers. I've developed a system to get beginners comfortable and fluent on the instrument quickly. Usually students are learning songs by the end of the first or the second lesson. For the last four years I've taught Recording Arts at High Schools in Evanston, Illinois, as well as held adjunct faculty positions at City Colleges of Chicago and Columbia College Chicago.
