I have 20 years of music experience, and 15+ with guitar. My goal is to tailor my lessons towards your desires - whether that be to learn music theory fundamentals, or just be able to play your favorite songs. I'll organize our lessons to achieve whatever these goals are.
One of my top priorities in teaching music is to keep you from getting bored. My hope is that very early on, we'll start working on songs that you are interested in playing, even if we need to simplify them a bit to get started. I find that if you can play what you love early on, then your interest in working hard to improve will persist!
I am also available to teach mandolin lessons, in addition to guitar.

I'm excited to start working with students interested in exploring music and guitar (or mandolin!)! Nothing brings greater joy to me than music, so I hope to help others achieve that same experience of getting to recreate the music that you love, or perhaps create your own.

My teaching pulls from 20 years of music experience, including over 15 years with guitar. I'll work with you to achieve your goals, no matter what they be, and hope to get you playing something that you love as soon as possible.
