Hello! I'm Alex, I've been writing, playing and performing music live since I was about 13. I was primarily self-taught, and later on took guitar and music theory lessons to supplement the knowledge I had already acquired on my own in order to better understand the systems and language used to communicate musical ideas. I also have been in groups that have performed live since a very young age, so I can also show you how to apply what you learn in a practical setting- be it playing live, writing your own music, or even if you would like to learn how to record yourself! My teaching style is extremely personalized and I take the time to make sure each one of my students is progressing in a way that is specially suited to his or her needs and goals. I've always had outstanding feedback from my clients and I hope I can also help you accomplish everything you set out to do and more!
