Bass Guitar with Alex K.

I have been playing bass for about 15 years both amateur and semi professionally in all styles including rock, funk, jazz, latin, jam, fusion, country, folk, bluegrass, classical and anything else! To help you learn we will play from the music of a diverse range of artists including Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Green Day, J.S. Bach, Charlie Parker, Jaco Pastorius, and anyone else you would like to listen to or play. I try to take a holistic view of music and the bass and will help you improve on and learn rhythm, sight reading, ear training, theory, and harmony. In addition, I will limit my number of students so that I can focus on each one individually. Music lessons should be fun, and I am happy to teach what you want to learn! I love music and I think that it is a great way to make your life better as a person, as well as a great way to meet people. Some of my best friends have come from bands I have played in and some of my best times have come from shows I've played, and I would love to share this experience with others!
