- High School, College
I have dealt with calculus from high school to the present. I took AP calculus BC and scored a 5 on the AP test. I've also taken calculus III and Differential Equations and TAed the latter in college. I have worked with multiple students in preparing for calculus exams (AP and collegiate) and worked with the material continuously as a physics major. You want someone who has worked in (and TAed) the subject to help you master it!
I work with students through material, practice problems, test/quiz prep, teach supplemental lectures from unclear lectures in class, and write practice materials for my students! Let me help you master this topic to meet your goals.
Shoot me a message to tell me your goals and I'll help you meet them!

Teaching is what I do! I have TAed multiple classes and taught dozens of students. I teach piano and other music concepts, as well as STEM fields in school. I only teach concepts that I'm completely fluent in, however, so you always get the absolute best instruction possible!
I have been playing piano for over 12 years. I retrained from scratch in the Taubman Technique a few years ago and play with ease and effortless musicality! I have taught tons of students how to play the instrument, incorporating these concepts into their playing as well.
I also tutor in STEM topics, including all math, physics, chemistry, and others. I have tutored over 2 dozen students and helped many achieve great results. I have a Master's degree in applied physics, graduated Magna cum Laude, and am fully prepared to help you master your math/science classes!
Schedule a lesson with me! See yourself improve from someone who knows how people think and understands the topics enough to impart the same onto you!
I tutor math (algebra, geometry, trig, pre-calculus, calculus, linear algebra) and physics!
I have taught piano lessons for over 4 years now! I work with the student on polishing pieces, theory, practicing and other aspects of playing to help them further their piano playing.
Alex was great, Andres understood everything and more, We are planing on keep Alex to review material for test with my son . Thanks Alex.
The first lesson went very well, thanks Alex!
My son really liked the classes and looking forward for the upcoming classes.
Alex is an amazing tutor. Working with him was a great experience. Alex identified and targeted my weaknesses in math; he reinforced whatever basics I was missing and then worked from there to polish my skills. He even worked on notes for me on his own time.
Alex was everything I needed in a tutor.
I have been communicating with Alex for about 8 months. First he was helping me with my Trigonometry class and now with Pre-Cal. I have zero issues with his performance. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about anything to do with Math. Keep in mind, he is good at both Math AND teaching/explaining it. I have every intention to use him for every Math class I have in my quest to obtain a degree in Com- Science. If he was living In Houston, he would probably be my wife's piano teacher.+ Read More
I got tutored in Algebra for about a week and he was very accommodating of the time and when I needed more or when I needed less he was very flexible. He's an excellent tutor, he won't cut corners and will make you actually think and solve the work instead of hustling you along to the next one. If you're looking for a math tutor then I don't know that you really could find one better.+ Read More
Alex has been a very helpful tutor. He is very patient and good at explaining confusing concepts. Would absolutely recommend!
Alex is a excellent instructor and comes highly recommended for dramatically improving my sons technique and well as keeping a young students interest positive and equipping him with the skills necessary to achieve his musical ambitions. His inhouse lessons are very accommodating and fees are very reasonable.+ Read More
