I have worked with Alex as a performer, stage manager, and co-teacher and have found him to be exceptionally intuitive in all three roles. Alex has an amazing ability to nurture talent in others through genuine interest in their goals as well as the knowledge and patience to help reach them.

You will not find a more supportive, enthusiastic, or caring educator than Alex.

Alex is an incredible teacher, supporter and friend. He always puts 10000000% into making sure that his students have a great experience. He is passionate about theatre and the world around him and will show these passions through teaching. I always looked forward to classes I took with him and anyone who has him as a teacher is incredibly fortunate.

I worked first in a supervisory role, and later alongside Alex at a summer academy for gifted middle school age students. In his initial role in the classroom setting (mostly in a theatrical class, but also in a music-oriented class) Alex continually demonstrated both a mastery of the content area and an affinity for instruction, as well as a strong talent for building meaningful relationships with his students, which further enhanced the learning environment.
Later, in his administrative role alongside me, he carried those talents into a broader sphere, teaching other staff how to best perform in both the educational setting and the social/emotional setting alongside students. At all times, he has demonstrated a profound talent in the theatrical arts, as well as a gift for working with students both individually and in the group setting.

Alex Boyt is a phenomenal educator. I worked with him in a semi-professional setting at a summer camp, and the dedication he has towards his students is incredible. You can see how much of his soul he pours into providing instruction and advice. His practical knowledge through a combination of his own thorough education and the vast amounts of hands-on experience he possesses is beyond valuable. You could not find a teacher more approachable, friendly, or capable than Alex Boyt.
