Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
I focus on the fundamentals and on having fun playing the clarinet. In the first lessons we will concentrate on developing good embouchure and hand position so you can create a beautiful sound. We will work on a variety of music, depending on your interests. I can help you master your parts for school bands and ensembles. I welcome students at all levels, and make sure that all of my students recognize the progress they make at each lesson. I look forward to working with you!

Hi, my name is Alessandro. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from DePaul University School of Music and I have been teaching lessons since April 2015. I am currently studying for my Master's Degree at DePaul as well. I think there are two important parts of taking clarinet lessons: learning the fundamentals, and having lots of fun. I focus on basics like embouchure, air, and tone to help you develop good technique. I will also work with you to select music that you like and that you will be excited to play.

Great first lesson! Alessandro is very helpful and knowledgeable. I am a total beginner at clarinet playing, and he helps me develop and improve my sound production from the very first start! Looking forward to the next lessons with him.

Very good instructor. He only had a few lessons with our son so far but we can already see a lot of progress has been made. Highly recommended!
