Alessandra has been teaching flute, piano, oboe, and music theory for ten years. Alessandra received her B.A. in Music with a Classical Piano emphasis from Cal Poly SLO in 2014, and she just graduated with her M.A. in Music Industry Administration from Cal State Northridge. She teaches the Suzuki Method for piano students, and a hybrid of other methods for flute, oboe, and music theory.
Alessandra was an oboe soloist at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. on the Cal Poly Symphony tour. She was also selected to perform the Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Major, Op. 102 by Dmitri Shostakovich with the Cal Poly Wind Ensemble, and the Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Minor, Op. 37 by Ludwig van Beethoven with Cal Poly Symphony. Alessandra was extremely active in her undergraduate music program, receiving several awards and scholarships, and was first chair flute/piccolo in marching band.
Alessandra is a fun and hands-on teacher, and you will leave each lesson smiling!
