Levels taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, AdvancedLearning to play an instrument is a formative, fun and inclusive process for both teacher and student. I enjoy seeing my pupils progress and ultimately, finding their voice and telling their own story through music. My objective as a docent is to inspire students to develop high intrapersonal intelligence so that they may become their own best teacher.
It is my hope that my students will acquire tools that will not only help them become better musicians but that will also assist them in other areas of their lives.
The student will learn healthy ways of approaching the instrument. I guarantee the student will begin to read music from the first lesson.
Classes are enriched with subjects such as music theory and music history.
Lessons are very interactive, dynamic and arranged to fit the interests and needs of each student.

Aleksandre is an amazing teacher! I've only been taking lessons with him for a month now and already feel more confident in my technique and happier with my sound! Aleksandre has incredible skill with the instrument and, importantly, is gifted in teaching as well! I highly recommend Aleksandre if you are looking to begin playing the viola or starting up again after decades like me!

My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her lessons with Aleksandre and she has made tremendous strides in just 1 year with his instruction. He is nurturing and encouraging, giving praise when it is due, but also is meticulous and has high standards. In this sense he really strikes a perfectly balanced approach to teaching and shows a genuine investment in her progress. He demonstrates an obvious passion for the instrument and it is thrilling and inspiring to hear him play. He is a real role model and a cheer leader for his students. She and I both highly recommend Aleksandre!

Aleksandre is an outstanding teacher! Truly one of the best. My son began taking lessons with Aleksandre a little more than a year ago. Aleksandre has a way of teaching that completely engages and excites my son while ensuring that he is learning how to read music and play with rhythm and feeling. When we had to go remote, Aleksandre did not miss a beat. My son has grown to love the violin so much that we increased our lessons to twice a week. I would highly recommend Aleksandre as a professional, thoughtful and extraordinary teacher of the violin.

Aleks is a great and inspiring teacher. He works really hard to make his students play at their best. He taught for us for over 6 years and he is still a esteemed guest artist and conductor at our school. We highly recommend his expertise and professionalism!

Aleksandre is a wonderful teacher! I have been working on Mozart's Symphonie Concertante, and he helped me realize certain musical liberties while at the same time maintain my technique. Aleksandre's way of explaining things has made it very easy for me to progress as a violist. When he demonstrates specific ideas on his viola, it is extremely clear to understand, plus it gives me inspiration to be as good as him. His artistry, patience, and enthusiasm is why I chose him as my teacher.

Aleksandre is an amazing, very professional music teacher. He's friendly and gets down to business quickly. He assessed my technique and current playing level, helped correct my issues, and explained how I could get a better sound. The foundation and tools he has given me have helped me practice more effectively. I can't believe how quickly I've progressed. I've taken private lessons in the past, but felt stuck. I wish I started with this teacher.

Aleksandre is a fantastic music teacher. He helped me learn how to read music and get started on the violin. He is very pleasant and informative.
